A trifle is a typical English dessert. It is made up of layers of vanilla cream, fresh or dried fruit, biscuits or sponge-cake. The trifle can be served at the end of a meal or as a healthy and delicious snack. It can be prepared far in advance and can be eaten at any time.
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 3 Mandorella al Naturale
- 120ml Mandorella cream
- 120ml agave nectar or grape syrup or concentrated apple syrup
- 1 big untreated lemon
- A pinch of Bourbon vanilla powder
- 200g grain biscuits without eggs and butter
- A handful of Goji berries
Blend the Mandorelle and the Mandorella cream with an immersion blender for about one minute until a smooth and frothy mixture is obtained. Add the grated lemon peel and the vanilla powder, sweeten at taste with agave or grape syrup or with concentrated apple syrup. Crumble the grain biscuits, place two spoonfuls of crumbs on the bottom of a glass and add a few teaspoons of cream. Continue placing crumbs and the cream up to the edge of the glass and finish the dessert by adding some more crumbs and some Goji berries (which should be previously softened in lukewarm water for 5 minutes). Serve the dessert cold.
